Is there downtime associated with Microneedling?
With Microneedling, there is little to no downtime. You may experience slightly red skin, but the discoloration and inflammation should disappear within 24 hours. Depending on the level of treatment you receive, your skin may be pink and or slightly peeled for 2-4 days after your treatment. Mineral-based makeup can be applied within 24 hours.
I have dark skin. Can I receive Microneedling?
Yes! Microneedling is intended for all skin types and pigmentations.
Am I a good candidate for Microneedling?
Microneedling is safe for all skin types. With that said, Microneedling is generally an excellent treatment for sensitive areas that can otherwise be difficult to address through other procedures.
